The allotment apples have been identified as Crispin, a versatile dual-purpose apple known as the Mutsu in Japan and USA http://www.orangepippin.com/apples/crispin

We donated most of our crop to Pepenbury who will turn it into juice to raise funds http://www.pepenbury.info/

Hi,

I would like to help out on the community allotment. When is the next working day? I live in Rusthall, near the Toad Rock and would probably be coming by bike so there may be a limit to what I can bring with me. I have no previous experience - except that I am a fairly active member of the commons conservation group (but this mainly involves bashing scrub.) Anyway look forward to it.

Is anyone interested in attending a free specialist training day on Legal Issues for food co-ops on 20th April 2011 in London?
