Alternatives to Ning and links to Kent High Weald Project

The problems seem to be with a group running a website of any form;

a) Maintaining it

b) Sharing information and resources between different groups.Simple websites (4), (5) don't do this but can have links  to do that. They need to share a common membership list events site which Yahoo Groups (6) do well.

This Ning handles different groups concurrently like a small world wide web but they can loose there…

Mercury in Low Energy Light Bulbs

When millions of these were distributed free a few years back it was not generally realised that they contain mercury. Each light bulb, if not safely recycled, can pollute a huge amount of water.
